The Death of Ivan Ilyich
This is a story about death and dying and a judge that has never
given much thought to it.
Then shockingly to his surprise death comes knocking at his door and
the judge will review his life to see if it was worth living.

August 28, 1828 – 1910
Leo was born in central Russia to a family of nobility and had a long
lineage of Russian ancestry. Leo was educated in Moscow for a while and
then returned back to his homeland city of Yasnaya Polyana. After a
brief military career he started a school for peasant children.
Leo believed that in order to change the world he needed to start with
the education of its children.
In 1862 he married Sonya Andreyevna Behrs she bore him 13 children.
If you have never heard of Leo Tolstoy there is a good chance you have
heard of the book he wrote War and Peace.
Leo died of an pneumonia in November 1910.
