Iron John is a book about becoming a man. And the stages you go through for development. It's based on one of the Grimm fairy tales and will inspire men and women both.

Robert was born in Minnesota and ended up enlisting in the Navy in 1944. After his career in the Navy he thought it might be time to go to college and he chose a good one, Harvard.

Harvard had produced a long line of great writers and now he was part of that long line.

In 1966 he formed a group opposing the Vietnam War and led much of the opposition himself.

Robert might have written a few best selling books but he was also a well known poet.
